What the game stores
Ember Traces keeps progress, created artwork, settings, and accessibility preferences on the device it is played on. These gameplay records and drawings are not uploaded to our servers. A grown-up can deliberately share artwork using the device sharing controls. The game shows no ads and requires no game account.
Made with children in mind
Little Embers is built for young children. Little Embers and Campfire Tales do not send gameplay analytics to third parties. There are no third-party ads anywhere in the app, and grown-up areas — including purchases, restore, external links, and sharing — sit behind a parent gate. The game does not intentionally collect personal information from children.
Website analytics and cookies
This marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read, so we can improve the site. It sets analytics cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, along with technical details such as approximate location, browser, and device type. IP addresses are anonymized by Google. We deliberately switch off Google Signals and ad personalization, so this measurement never feeds advertising or remarketing audiences, and we set no advertising cookies of our own.
You can opt out for every site by installing Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings. The game does not send third-party gameplay analytics. Purchase processing is described separately below. Our hosting provider may also process ordinary request information — IP address, browser type, requested path, and timestamps — for delivery, security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
Purchases and restore
In versions with the optional Full Game purchase enabled, Apple or Google processes payment. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases, restore access, and understand purchase activity. It processes purchase history, store transaction records, an anonymous purchase identifier, and technical information needed to provide that service. We do not receive your payment card details and do not send your drawings, tracing scores, or children's gameplay activity to RevenueCat.
Purchase information is used for app functionality, fraud prevention, and purchase analytics, not advertising tracking. It is transmitted using encryption. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for its processing practices. Versions with purchases disabled do not initialize the purchase service.
To ask about purchase records or request deletion, contact hello@embertraces.com. We may need information about the transaction to locate the record. Store-held transaction records remain subject to Apple's or Google's policies. Deleting purchase-service records can affect access restoration; local progress and artwork remain on your device.
Sound on this website
The “Play music” button plays the game’s music and a synthesized fire crackle in your browser. Sound starts only after you tap the button, plays only on your device, and records nothing.
Launch-news emails
The “Get launch news” button opens your own email application so you can contact hello@embertraces.com directly. Any message you choose to send is handled by your email provider and ours so Lucky Dreamer can reply with launch updates. Writing is optional and does not create an account.
